Guidelines for authors

IRLS welcomes submissions on a wide range of themes within the realm of literary studies, including but not limited to:

- Literary analysis

- Cultural critique

- Interdisciplinary studies

- Theoretical explorations

- Comparative literature

- Global literary traditions

- Genre studies

- Postcolonial literature

- Contemporary literary trends

Submission Guidelines:

- Original and unpublished manuscripts should be between 4000 and 9000 words.

- Book reviews should be approximately 1000 words.

- Submissions must adhere to the APA 7th edition citation style.

-Prepare two files, one with authors' details and the other anonymized, for the blind review process.  

-AI tools for writing content/proofreading are subject to declaration. The authors are advised to include an acknowledgment statement about AI usage before the references sections. 

Important Dates:

- Notification of acceptance: Immediately after the review process completed

- Publication of accepted papers: Papers will be published soon after acceptance

All submissions will undergo a rigorous double-blind peer-review process to ensure the highest academic standards. Authors can expect constructive feedback from experienced scholars in the field.
