About the Journal

International Review of Literary Studies (IRLS) is an International peer-reviewed journal of literary studies that publishes original research articles, review papers, book reviews, and cutting-edge research informed by Literary and Cultural Theory.

Acceptable themes include, but are not limited to, the following:

• IRLS is an invaluable international peer-reviewed journal covering the latest literature-related research and its sub-topics, primarily covered in literary studies.
• IRLS publishes theoretical, empirical, and experimental research to contribute to our understanding of literary theory and its effects on readers.

Topics covered by the journal include (but are not limited to) the following:  

Literary Criticism, Comparative and World Literature, English Literature, Literary Theory, Postcolonial Literature, and Indigenous writings.
